Information
The curriculum I use is Kids Can Sew® and Fashion Design by Carolyn Curtis. These lessons start with level one and progress until the student is ready to use commercial patterns. As the student becomes proficient with the basics of sewing, I will begin to teach them how to use a serger and an embroidery machine to embellish their projects. Also, I encourage students to experiment with the skills they have learned and to exercise their creativity during their lesson time. This is not a "project producing" class, but a skill developing opportunity. The classes are held once a week and are one hour long. As interest is generated and time allows, a fashion show may be held to give your kids the opportunity to exhibit the projects they have made. Nothing boosts self confidence like getting to show off the things made by yourself!

Parents/Guardians
Please be on time when dropping off or picking up your student. Other classes may be in progress and their time will be interrupted. Let’s be courteous to others!
If your student is not going to make it to class, please let me know as soon as possible. You are responsible for making arrangements to make up missed classes. This class must be arranged within the week the class was missed. If a class is canceled, I will make sure the class is either rescheduled or refunded.
Please do not work on class projects (new or current) away from class. Students are encouraged to make past projects outside of class time if they have the opportunity.

Monthly tuition includes 4 hours of instruction (except when classes fall on a holiday),
equipment (no need to purchase or rent!) and all supplies except
for fabric and notions.
* $50.00 ($12.50/lesson
when there are four classes a month. On months when there are five
classes it works out to be only $10.00/ class.) The price stays the same
regardless how many classes are in a month.
Returned
checks will have a $25.00 fee.
No refunds after first class attended.
